Robb Ogle

Robb Ogle, Minister of Minutiae, squints at books as if far-sighted. In truth, he’s analyzing the type. Advising the just-so font, inching existing letters to taste, or lettering what cannot be found is a very small thing few people choose to do. Specializing in small inflections and subversive little cues, he spends a lot of time working humanizing kinks into letters produced too perfectly by computers. He works at a cherry desk formerly employed in his grandfather’s insurance then his mother’s assurance firms. Now it holds a much less serious job supporting a not-the-latest model Mac and a coffee mug filled with dollar store mechanical pencils, calligraphy knibs, dagger brushes, and x-acto knives.
