opportunity

The mission of the Catalyst Institute (CI) is to create, translate, and transfer knowledge that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems that contribute to improving oral health. The CI supports practitioners, insurers, policy makers, advocates, funders and consumers in making thoughtful and effective decisions about oral health care. CI invited us to help create a comprehensive promotional launch for this innovative dental knowledge management company – an opportunity that had us chomping at the bit.

Schwadesign solution

We partnered with CI to create and launch an industry awareness campaign in November 2006, articulating their vision with a highlighted video presentation during their sensational kick-off party. Operating under a highly compressed timeline, Schwadesign created an enterprising 12-minute video to package CI’s core messages with an engaging delivery to providers, policy makers, and the public. Engineering this product required storyboarding, editing, shot list coordination, and sourcing original custom music that has now become part of a signature sonic identity for CI. The video was edited and loaded onto portable flash drive (USB) digital storage devices as interactive take-aways. Ongoing CI collaboration includes quarterly newsletters that allow for email-based marketing, information sharing, and communication about program updates. Schwadesign has also created postcards that share the organization’s message and simultaneously encourage dialogue between dental practitioners and the Institute.
