opportunity

The Computer Museum needed to “go out with a bash” during its last few months in Fort Point (prior to relocating to the Museum of Science), and during its hosting of the 1999 Boston Cyberarts Festival. Many of the exhibits were defunct, unplugged, or decrepit.

Schwadesign solution

In collaboration with George Bird of B+B Design. We took every opportunity to refresh, repaint, re-light, and rekindle life in the historic space. Many of the exhibits were redesigned just for the occasion, including the Computer Clubhouse room, and History Wall of Artificial Intelligence with 75 industry milestones. (We had just wrapped up the identity program for the AI Lab at MIT.)
